NexusValve MVS Vivax (Modular Valve System) is a pre-frabricated unit combining the NexusValve Vivax PICV with isolating, flushing, draining & flow measurement features. This compact set offers accurate and efficient flow control in variable volumed heating and cooling systems.

The PICV control insert must be removed from the valve body when flushing of the installation, to protect the integrity of the mechanism without having to remove the complete valve.
The flow rate adjustment is carried out using a supplied key. Adjusting the flow rate based on the full capacity of the valve does not limit the stroke of the control needle.
To check the flow, the NexusValve Flowmeter BC3 is connected to the measuring points of the NexusValve Vivax. When the smallest differential pressure of the working range is displayed, the required flow rate can be set and confirmed as required.
The valve can be equipped with thermal or electric actuators with different controls types.
Ideal control for optimal room temperature. The built-in pressure independent control valve (PICV), provides dynamic modulation whatever the pressure variations of the heating or cooling systems are.
Whatever the presetting, the Vivax control stroke is always the full design which will make the modulating control always very accurate.
The integrated Venturi nozzle on the Vivax PICV allows for a real-time field diagnostic to be performed by an accurate flow measurement device (such as the Nexus Flowmeter BC3). The unique Kvm value of the Venturi section allows for +/- 3% flow measurement accuracy, this makes setting the nominal flow very easy and efficient.

The integrated differential pressure regulator ensures a high level of control authority while preventing over-supply in the system at all times. The Vivax can be used with or without an actuator as a dynamic flow limiter or as an pressure independent control valve. The valve is equipped with two self-sealing pressure test points which will allow the measurement of the differential pressure and the flow, across a Venturi tube integrated into the valve. The valve does not require any straight pipe lengths upstream or downstream for installation and the measurement on the valve will allow a real-time direct reading of the flow even when the setting is manually changed or is being affected by the actuator, thanks to the fixed Kvm value of the Venturi tube.
