The main cause of CV malfunctions is too low water pressure. These malfunctions are unnecessary and particularly annoying for vulnerable target groups. Zorggroep Tangenborgh uses an innovative solution that eliminates unnecessary failure visits due to loss of pressure. With the Flexcon PA AutoFill from Flamco and the Flamconnect Remote Service platform, it remotely monitors the installation pressure and automatically replenishes the installation. And the older, often demented residents are no longer left out in the cold.

At the two care locations in Emmen alone, where Flamco applies this innovative remote service, Tangenborgh saves dozens of malfunction visits every year. And yet, according to Kok, this improvement in efficiency is just a side issue: "It is more important for the residents, because they get fewer people across the floor unnecessarily and retain more privacy"
Care and innovation go hand in hand at Tangenborgh. As a specialist in dementia care she wants people with memory problems to lead their own lives for as long as possible. Healthcare technology can support this. In addition to the many care locations it manages in Southeast Drenthe, the institution has a Dementia Home of the Future. In the demonstration house, new healthcare technology is tested for the benefit of both professionals and private individuals. Tangenborgh has been using the Flexcon PA AutoFill for the past year also for care locations De Bleerinck and De Schans. These are existing central heating installations for 300 and 80 residents respectively. "We were looking for a solution to prevent problems with installations", says Erik Bouwhuis of the technical department. "Malfunctions occur at night and during de-icing and cause extra work pressure. On the other hand, residents are not always able to replenish themselves and you don't want to disturb them for every trifle"
Bouwhuis connected some of Flamco's own systems a year ago. "With Flexcon PA AutoFill, we have the certainty that the installations are and will remain pressurised, thanks to automatic refilling. I can monitor and control the pressure level of the installations via the app on my mobile phone and in the Flamconnect management platform. I am also notified if there is a leak and the installation fills up too often and too much. I can set the filling limit myself"
The application of Flexcon PA AutoFill in combination with Flamconnect has great advantages for both technical staff and residents. "I drive fewer failure trips and save at least twenty hours a year and have less work pressure", says Bouwhuis. "On the other hand, it gives more peace of mind for the residents, who need to worry less about refilling and are less disturbed.
