Business Intelligence Analyst

How will you do this?

As a business analyst you will provide in-depth analyses on performance of Aalberts Hydronic Flow Control, understand and evaluate the parameters driving this performance and contribute to plans positively impacting this performance. In close consultation with finance & IT department, you will bring the department further into an intelligent cross functional strategic analyses team. In this new role you will report to the IT Director.

Key responsibilities in bullet points

• Develop and maintain the Analytics Platform of Hydronic Flow Control (QlikSense).
• Build data-integrations between QlikSense and source systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, E-commerce, IoT platform).
• Define and create data models and definitions.
• Analyse and report on data quality and drive improvement thereof.
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders and determine priority.
• Create reporting dashboards for Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
• Provide support and training to key users.
• Create and maintain data mappings.
• Monitor data integrations.
• Work together with internal and external application experts.

You will also

• Perform requirements analysis and write functional/technical designs
• Liaise with colleagues to build roadmaps for Analytics and Integration
• Participate in application & architecture discussions (incl. big data, streaming analytics and service APIs)
• Support E-commerce, CRM and ERP teams in realising their roadmaps
• Identify opportunities for applying Analytics and Integration technologies to create insights and process improvements

We are looking for:

• Bachelor/University graduate in relevant field
• 3-5 years’ relevant working experience in analytics/BI
• Experience with MS SQL, writing queries, database systems, reporting/dashboarding tools (e.g. QlikSense, PowerBI), basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong affinity with Information Technology as enabler behind process innovation.
• Can-do attitude is really key. Willing and able to experiment and try new things.
• Self-guided learner, able to pick-up things quickly.
• Excited about building something new
• Self-starter who takes ownership;
• Good command of the English language and preferable Dutch as well, both verbal and written;

Who is Aalberts Hydronic Flow Control?

The business Hydronic Flow Control develops and produces hydronic systems - from source to delivery - for heating, cooling and drinking water systems. The company has development and production locations in the Netherlands, Europe, Asia and North America and the management is located in Bunschoten.
